Job Description:

Editorial Associate

We are looking to hire a full-time Associate who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced and growth-oriented work environment. This is a role with significant potential for advancement. We offer competitive salary and benefits.

Duties will include:

  • Writing: Draft, write, and edit all forms of written content, including press releases, media backgrounders, statements, opeds, and bylined articles
  • Research: Conduct investigative research projects on behalf of Miller Ink’s account and crisis teams
  • Proposals: create the first draft of business development proposals

Qualifications

  • A commitment to Miller Ink’s core values: Positivity, Accountability, and Excellence.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of work experience in communications, journalism, politics or a related field
  • Exceptional research, writing/storytelling and editing skills, including proven experience completing written work product on tight deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of applications required
  • Strong strategic thinker with a history of problem solving
