Positioning a tech startup—and its CEO—as industry innovators
Executive positioning and media strategy for TeleSign
Situation
TeleSign is a tech company that connects and protects online experiences with sophisticated customer identity and engagement solutions. It conducts billions of transactions per month and is used by more than two-thirds of the world’s largest cloud computing companies. CEO Ryan Disraeli founded the company as only a sophomore in college and grew TeleSign into a multimillion-dollar cybersecurity powerhouse.
As TeleSign continues to cultivate new partnerships and develop novel ways to protect consumers online, it turned to Miller Ink to raise awareness of its innovative software, connect with key audiences and investors, and leverage Ryan’s unique background and expertise.
Approach
Miller Ink began its work with TeleSign by developing a messaging architecture, a comprehensive document that translates its innovative approach and mission into clear, concise value propositions. Our team used the information gleaned from these conversations to create and implement a strategic and executive communications capability for TeleSign.

Impact
To situate Ryan as a leading voice in the cybersecurity space, we secured feature stories and drafted a series of articles that captured his ethos and highlighted his expertise. We interpolated Ryan’s life experiences and vision for cybersecurity with TeleSign’s central messages to develop a stump speech—as well as talking points—to be deployed in speaking engagements at cybersecurity conferences.
Miller Ink secured coverage for TeleSign in national news and tech media outlets and brokered opportunities for Ryan to be featured as a keynote speaker at several conferences in the cybersecurity space.
